Our Services
Disaster Case Management
Disaster case management is a crucial part of the OLTRG’s work. They assist disaster victims directly with connection to resources and act as advocates for disaster victims to receive the resources they are entitled to.
An unmet needs assessment allows the OLTRG to understand and assess the damages that disaster victims are dealing with. With this assessment the OLTRG can determine whether the damaged sustained is relevant to the storm and prevents doubling of resources.
Emotional and Spiritual Care
Disasters can take a toll on a person or family, we also assist in connecting disaster victims to faith based or professional counseling to deal with the trauma of a disaster.

The OLTRG
The Okeechobee Long Term Recovery Group works under the umbrella 501(C)(3) of Our Village Okeechobee. We began assisting disaster victims in January of 2025 and will continue until June of 2026 in our recovery efforts from Hurricane Milton. We assist in connecting Okeechobee County disaster victims to resources that would provide them relief.
